★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can, walk, ride your bike or take a train ride and tram, there's plenty of sport games happening in Fendalton Park, plenty of space for the dog to run around and they even have a 9hole golf course if you want to sharpen up your skills. Just Next door to the park you can go horse riding, not suitable for wheelchairs, toilets available

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fendalton Park is a fairly small (approximately 2 rugby fields) space, very popular with dog walkers and rugby players. It has a mid-sized children’s playground at one end and a stream at the other.
It’s a pretty friendly spot to walk your dog, with a higher class of dog and owner, as one would expect for Fendalton :-).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was cold when I was there, the playground is in the shade which is probably a good thing in the summer but not then. I've awarded an extra star for the man who controlled 7 dogs in his own, I have trouble with just 1 but I've never walked her here, maybe there is some special canine chilled vibe to it, I will try with my dog and add a star if that is the case

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This park has heaps of space for playing sport, exercising the dog (must be on lead), picnics and to chill. There is a playground near the Plunket building for the kids as well as the two bowling clubs. There is a drinking fountain on the Fendalton Road side and seats round the park too. Rugby posts are permanently installed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of space for playing all sorts of games with the massive grassed area. A little bit of shade around the park but not much. Playground is classic and has been good for years.
