★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We love Ferry Antique Centre. Such a treat to have multiple traders on one site, making the range of items spectacular. We particularly appreciate the range of New Zealand antiques and vintage items and the place is skilfully coordinated by the wonderful Vickie of Flame in Stitches Vintage. If we're in the South Island anywhere at all, we will make sure that we travel through Christchurch to get to the Centre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would’ve given 0. Had some nice pieces (rings & jewellery mainly) the other antiques were average at best.
Not sure the origin of a clearly Chinese porcelain piece which was obvious based on the maker’s mark. Said wasn’t sure it’s Japanese or Chinese so their knowledge of Asian antiques was disappointing…
The sales men just subtly made several back handed comments. One of them being, “if you had $1,000 I would sell it to you” great way to insult your potential customer with such a low priced piece.
The other pricing of some items made zero sense. One Amethyst ring had a stone changed & the sales person had no idea of this. Claimed that’s why the piece was so cheap??? And another ring labeled diamond was cheaper.
The other salesman complained we were taking too long to look around. Another great example of insulting your customers. You’ve organised the items in several locked cabinets. How is this my fault ?
