★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shout out to Shannon of Off Peak Automotive, Upper Hutt and Paul of RV Dreams that fixed the leaking diesel heater take off seal that failed my CoF. Paul made time for the fix even though he didn't have any to spare. Shannon went the extra mile and was very fair on his labour charge. Had to drop/lower the tank to see it. Apparently, it was a botched install by one of four previous owners or Jayco initial install. Emailed previous owner and it had passed three CoF with them so they wouldn't come to the party. Can't understand how they never noticed a leaking fuel tank.
Take aways: buyer beware, some people are awesome and others are, 'meh', and don't fill your tank up before a CoF, only go to three quarters.
On ya Shannon and Paul you rock!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exceptional service provided by Paul and Jody. Phoned the day prior with a battery issue and although fully booked they suggested I drop in and they would have a look. Not only did Paul sort the problem he explained the cause and offered alternatives. This while sorting other issues for staff and other drop in customers. His knowledge is extensive and his professional approach along with his personality made it a pleasure to deal with his company. As mentioned in a previous comment try to book an appointment as I saw how busy they are. He and Jody can't help but do their best for their customer. Thanks for your service and value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in today without a booking to see if I could get a new self containment certification done for my van. Was awesome that Paul said he'd take a look, and ended up doing the paperwork for the CSC then and there. Made it so easy, arrived non-CSC, left RV Dreams Certified Self Contained. Definitely recommend based on today's experience. Thanks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome service, Paul,jodie and Scott are amazing, nothing is to much trouble for them, service like this is hard to find.
Updating this as seals around satellite dish have leaked and water damage inside caravan has occured, unfortunately I no longer had the invoice only my receipt of payment so they won't do anything to fix, unfortunately it means going through consumer protection society which I'm in the process of doing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff go above and beyond in meeting and more often exceeding their customers expectations. This is definitely what I experienced when getting a Solar upgrade. The difference here is that Paul has integrity and takes pride in his work, no corners are cut, and quality is maintained regardless of whether the job involves a ‘makeshift’ repair (to keep customer’s cost down) or an outright replacement/installation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paid well above the normal rate for my caravan diesel heater to be serviced and repaired and it still does not work at all. My partner and I have been trying to contact via phone for over a week and no luck. Don't waste your money or your time, what a joke. This place does not value customers. We gave one star reviews as a result of the poor communication. You were never going to right the wrong as you incorrectly stated below as we have been trying to contact you for over one week, if you were genuine you would have contacted us back and communicated like an adult. We haven’t “damaged” a family business, you’ve done that to yourself by completely ripping us off.

I called and said my diesel heater isn’t working, it’s blocked up with dust, can you service it?
We live in a dusty area and each year we get our diesel heater serviced by a man in New Plymouth who charges somewhere in the $120-$150 range including shipping and service kits.
Frank said sure no problem, bring it in tomorrow.
Next day diesel heater is dropped off and by 2 pm it is ready, I get there and they mention it’s dusty as expected, as mentioned in phone call, no secret.
I ask, is it running ok, does it need anymore maintenance? To which he responds “we didn’t go to the extra effort to check”… I looked blankly at him, and he said it’ll be as good as new, it’s been fully serviced.
I am then handed a bill for $350, I think to myself this is very high, hourly rate is $100 per hour and he charged me for 2 hours labour plus service kit and more cleaning product…
I then get home to find said diesel heater doesn’t work, looks dirty to me and comes clean with 2 wipes and some spray and wipe…
Fast forward to today, I have called every day for a week and he just continues saying he can’t do anything, won’t give me the bosses number, won’t call me back, and is completely disconcerted with the piss poor customer service.
All I want is for you to do what you’ve charged me for, it shouldn’t come to this…
Avoid them at all costs, very disappointing
