β β β β β Such an awesome experience to fly!!! I was a bit hesitant as I am not very good at balance and the water looked cold - but should not have worried! The instructor was amazing - he spent time teaching me exactly how to fly, with a short introduction on land, and then started out lying down on the board in the water. Wetsuits are provided so the cold was not a problem at all. Within no time I was standing up on the hydrofoil and cruising over the lake (ok well I definitely fell off a few times while learning, but it's such a soft landing that I didn't mind!). Wow - what an amazing feeling it is to fly!! The boards are so quiet and you have complete control over your speed so I never felt in any danger. The instructor was so helpful and was right there when I needed. Seriously this has to be the best activity in Queenstown - I cannot wait to go back and spent more flying over the amazing Lake Wakatipu!

β β β β β Just finished my first lesson on the Flite School boards with Jason.
It was gold. I am no pro but you can totally pick this up, after 15 mins it felt like I was flying, and I had heaps of time to play. With the Wettie on it was warm as and I am def going back for a Summer glide. Get on this before everyone finds out. Jason was a super chilled but a very impressive coach. Thanks guys, awesome glide.

β β β β β Totally amazing experience. Jason was an awesome instructor and got me up on the foil within 30 mins. Such an amazing feeling like snowboarding on air. I have been back multiple times, just love it. Highly recommend!
