★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Philippa was the celebrant for the wedding of my son and daughter in law. My son was so nervous as he is very shy but Philippa went over and above in helping to make their ceremony relaxed and kept it light and happy. They wanted a semi-casual atmosphere filled with laughter and happiness and she added just enough formality to make it a perfect blend. I'd highly recommend Philippa as your celebrant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We started speaking to Phillipa in 2001 as we were getting married in Queenstown's Chapel by the lake and felt that after reading her biography she would be perfect to marry us. We are English and travelled from the UK and after various emails and phone calls we arrived at the perfect ceremony for us.
Throughout this process Philippa was incredibly sensitive to our needs and helped us make decisions by offering options and alternatives. This resulted in a perfect wedding day cherished by Amy and me forever. Phillipa's caring delivery made the service very special and was loved by our guests.
The story doesn't stop there as we decided to renew our wedding vows after spending 20 years of marriage together. I contacted Phillipa just before Christmas 2021 and asked whether she would perform the renewal of our vows over the video network zoom as we were in the UK. Once again her approach was amazing. She was keen to make the celebration personal to us and we exchanged dialogue over a couple of months until the important day.
The day was perfect and the rather emotional ceremony once again delivered with feeling by Phillipa was incredible. This isn't just a job for her, she gets involved with the couples she marries and takes great pleasure in their union.
I would say to anyone looking to get married in Queenstown, New Zealand Phillipa Cook is the perfect celebrant to perform the most important role on your day. The venue Chapel on the Lake is idyllic and we were lucky enough many years ago to be helicoptered to the venue (although this isn't allowed any more). 5 star service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Phillipa was such a super star especially when 5x hungry, distracted little boys were at our small wedding to distract her from trying to do her job! Her words were so lovely and although we barely knew each other, somehow she magically understood us as a couple, our relationship and connected deeply to our souls as well as our families who attended our wedding. Straight away Phillipa made us all feel so at ease during the ceremony. We really appreciate everything you did for us Phillipa!
