★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must visit cafe in Kaikoura. We read about it in The NZ Herald travel section and they are absolutely right. Cafe is spacious, nicely done, staff is very friendly and the food is amazing. We went there for our early morning coffees and later for breakfasts, everything was fresh and delightful. French Toast - a must, so yummy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This has been our go-to stop in when we travel through Kaikoura since it has opened. Great food, coffee and general decor. Favourites have been the mushrooms and the waffles. Staff have always been welcoming. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ate here twice when in kaikoura it was so good, and we’ll head back before we leave to try the cabinet food which looked amazing. Best creamy mushrooms and eggs Benedict breakfasts we’ve ever had! Lovely atmosphere too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A walk along the beach is always a favourite followed by a coffee and a bite to eat. You’ll not be disappointed here. Delicious food in abundance and great coffee. The customer service and food selection of both made to order or from the cabinet caters for the quick stop or the leisurely meal.

The staff were super friendly. The food was beyond delicious particularly the hash browns. A massive thank you to the chef who was happy to cater for our son who is anapylatic to dairy. She was very knowledgeable and confident

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food at reasonable prices. They warmed my quiche without turning it into a soggy mess. Tasty salad on the side. They used pine nuts on a cannelloni which is like drops of gold at today's prices. Nice ambience too. Would highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good selection of pastries and sweet dishes. We enjoyed our coffee. Things are but different in this Covid-19 era. We had to produce our vaccine pass because we were dining in. They are trying to keep us safe. Toilet facilities is available. Service was fast. Be aware of the seagulls. They will snoop for your food if you are away or not looking. We enjoyed our time here
