★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pies werent very nice and my carrot was so dry i was dry wretching gross wont go there again so yesterday i went to the cafe i signed in and ordered my food and sat down quite a few people came in and never signed in at all shameful the signs right at the door when you walk in and theres the sign to sign in but arrogant and dont sign in at all shameful i made sure that i signed in its not that hard at all the sign is for a reason for contact tracing theres cases up here in northland already shameful not signing in at all who ever you are yesterday shameful you could potentially have covid and spread it shame on you im fully vaccinated thank god but theres others vunerable as well and what gets me is that the staff never asked if they had signed in every other buisnesses do shameful alright i sign in everywhere i go oh i said i wasnt coming back again i did and was ashamed that no one signed in at all shameful

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I Just had the snapper and chips meal and was not impressed. We asked if the snapper was fresh and were told it was. What we got was a pre battered and frozen piece of something that didn't even taste nice (it definately was not snapper) I would not recommend the fish here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great coffee ☕ Great breaky too! Nice people with a friendly greeting from everyone, even the locals! Very hearty, must go back to try something I'm very curious about trying on the menu. Generous portion with my poached eggs on toast, I got three! Partner loved his big breaky. Also, I love it when I get a nice soy latte and even better when your cappuccino has the right consistency of milk, coffee & a good thick froth. Yum!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in mid week for a quick lunch. Despite minimal staff the food came out fast. Portions were generous. I ordered the ribs which were full of flavour, we also ordered fish and chips, nachos and toasted sandwiches. All meals came out relatively quickly and flavours were great.
