I don't know anything about South African food or 98% of this stores contents for that matter. All I want is Biltong, it's just magical and I want the best. That's what I found here. Meat 'n Greet has the best Biltong in Hamilton in my experience. I bought a Kg to share...and ate 80% of it in three days. I would have done it all in two days but one needs to excersize self control. I'll be going back regularly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely South African butchery. They have a large selection here and all at competitive prices. The staff are very friendly and will help you with recipe ideas and which cuts will suit your dish best. I highly recommend visiting this shop, you have to try the biltong! YUM!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stumbled upon this butchery by chance on Saturday and I was not let down. Their cuts of meat is how it should be. My mother from auckland will now being doing weekly visits to Hamilton to do her meat shopping. The meat is so tender and delicious. I cant wait to go back this weekend to stock up my fridge :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Newly open just three weeks ago, this South African butchery is a mandatory stop for special meats and delicious homemade sausages, either stuffed with beef or pork. It is well decorated and organized in sections to make it easier to shop around. There are plenty of other options to complement your bbq experience, like braaipap and chakalaka combo. Plenty of parking in front and opens every day, ideal for a last minute bbq. Will definitely come back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic range of things from SA. Very well-priced biltong and the best droewors I've had this side of the world. My usual stop in when I visit Hamilton. This batch of biltong was very salty but it's usually incredible.
