β β β β β Quite expensive and not properly stocked. I would recommend driving a bit further to Ohakune if you're near the National Park region.

β β β β β A supermarket has the basic grocery foods but mostly the gears you need for skiing or related activities. Has clean toilet and parking as well Gas petrol station attached to it. Petrol and diesel is bit expensive but other grocery stuff is good.

β β β β β Desert Road was closed today (30/06/2021), we detoured and stopped here. I forgot what that young mans name was in his name tag but he was very welcoming and pleasant to talk to at 7:30am. Dad and I had a lovely chat, we hope to pop by again in the foreseeable future!
