J	J Cullen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poorly sign posted and didnt find out we had to use it till we got to Whakapapa Village. So had to back track and then the shock value of $35per adult, $10 child. Very expensive for a family. It is return which is ok. Better sign posting and a price board and pick up point at Whakapapa would go a long way. Kiwis wanting to support these local businesses would go better with just a few changes

There is frankly not enough capacity to guarantee you will be able to get up the mountain. Booking is vital. There is plenty of parking, but the toilet facilites had no toilet paper, so either bring your own or be prepared to hold.
