★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being the main store for the surrounding district, the next being Te Araroa a further 45-50 km away. It has most food products and utensils you need. Has a fuel depot at the rear. Make the most of what they offer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The shelves are stocked of good products and have reasonable prices however, the staff need to work on their customer service skills.
I do the bulk of my shopping there so I have a trolley full of things. When the products are scanned and paid for the staff member then starts serving the person behind me.
I am still struggling with packing my things into a box and then into the trolley but manage to block the line making the whole transaction awkward. All while other staff members are standing around gossiping or looking the other way. I've never experienced anything like it.Terrible service from younger staff members and woman of Indian decent. Older staff members are great.
In saying all of this, Ruatoria has the best selection of produce and products. Tokomaru Bay however has impeccable service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ expensive for food here. very quiet town and not very busy. one nite was enough for me, i couldnt buy a coffee any where and the cafe was closed aue!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Four Square Ruatoria always has nice helpful staff. Always smiley and talkative. Even though they ran out of Ruatoria pies, they let me buy them frozen so I can still enjoy at home. Always good selection of product they're selling and clean too. Love these guys!!
