Geoconsult is a privately owned New Zealand engineering consultancy established in 2009, specialising in the fields of geotechnical engineering and engineering geology.
Geoconsult provides affordable geotechnical services with quick turnarounds, primarily to the New Zealand market, with a focus on delivering practical, cost efficient solutions to our clients. Our client base includes local government, developers, contractors, private individuals and other consultants.
With over 15 staff members between our offices in Auckland, Christchurch, Tauranga, Hamilton and Whangarei our team of professional Geotechnical Engineers and Engineering Geologists have a wide range of experience and expertise within both the geotechnical and geological professions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a work done by that company Auckland brunch recently. The engineer emailed us the invoice and said the paper is ready to release upon the payment received. We paid the invoice on the same day as forwarded by our project manager. But the engineer did not release the paper to us. I spoke to the engineer after a week of the payment been made regarding that matter. The engineer hung up my phone rudely.
I highly not recommend that company if you can find other choices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I paid for a Geotech report which was quoted to take us up to Building Consent stage. Upon submission to council we find out that two tasks are missing and we can't even get Resource consent. Geoconsult have advised that they didn't know about these tasks & that they aren't common, however, one of the tasks was actually a requirement by the MBIE & the other was in the original subdivision report. Other Engineering places quoted us the same amount, that included those tasks, so we assumed that Geoconsult's did also. They did our report in 2 days (which was great), but charged us $4,500!!
I wouldn't recommend these crooks to anyone in the future after this experience.
