About Geoff's Emporium
Our story
Ike's and Geoff's Emporium are pioneers in Auckland supplying fabrics and sewing needs to customers from all walks of life for over 40 years. We aim to help people find what they are looking for to complete any project and idea, while providing clear advice and excellent customer service.
Our emporiums are 100% kiwi owned and operated. Geoff's Emporium was the first store to open in 1980 in the heart of Dominion Road, in Mount Eden. A place that has been part of Mount Eden’s community selling quirky and funky items. Geoffs Emporium still preserves its original character and offers a variety of fabrics, sewing supplies and almost everything you can think of.A few years later, we also opened a store in Orewa (which closed down in 2014) and then, Browns Bay and lastly, Devonport. Along with new stores, the name Ike’s Emporium was added to our brand.
Our values and products
For so many years in the textile and haberdashery sector, we have had the opportunity to be part of fascinating projects. From weddings, dress-up parties and movies to an entire art exhibition and various fashion shows around the country. We’ve been part of it all. We are happy to provide advice to our creative customers and help them get some joy whilst achieving their dreams.
The secret? A combination of good customer service, attention to detail, fair prices and a lot of passion for what we do along the way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best place to get fabric - I go here at least once a week. Huge range and pretty cheap. It’s also really good for little bits and pieces like buttons, bias tape, machine thread, and zippers which are also much cheaper than at other stores.
