★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really disappointing, old food used seems to be the norm here, waste of money, been going on too long now. Falafel too hard to chew, disgusting meat, my ten year old gagged on her lamb/beef doner kebab. Very overpriced now too

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a Felafel kebab on Easter weekend. This food is not fresh. The falafel was burnt most of the way through and inedible. The lettuce was wilted and manky. I have never experienced food of this quality in Any kebab shop in New Zealand. The single star is for the Civil counter staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited store Sunday lunchtime and was extremely quiet (was the only customer) but the two young team members were still friendly/attentive and helpful. Not normally my preference for lunch but was pleasantly surprised how filling and tasty it was also at great value. Only negative was the in store ambience as no music playing…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely flavours. Perhaps cut and store the lettuce in a big container of water in the freezer - it will help lock in freshness and prevent the brown wilt. Falafel flavour was lovely however quite dry and hard to chew.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely LOVE Golden Kebabs! The staff are super friendly & the food is absolutely delicious!! The chips are NEXT LEVEL!! Love looking at the photos on the wall & reminiscing about my travels to Turkey. Nice little restaurant too if u want to eat in , we always eat here and are never disappointed.
