About Goldfields School
We have four junior classes and one senior transition class at Goldfields School Base. The Junior classes are called Kororā, Pūkeko, Pīwakawaka and Hoiho. Each class has one teacher and at least two teaching assistants.
We aim to provide a warm and caring environment for our students, some of whom need specialist care and the security that our base school provides.
In our junior classes we have a full and varied curriculum. As well as our core learning activities, we include swimming in our own heated therapeutic pool, play therapy with our specialist therapist and regular outlines in the community.
