★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So many things be weight. Stuff you wouldn't expect like shampoo and conditioner, cleaning products, maple syrup, red wine vinegar, baking supplies and more. Little vegan friendly snack bars and freeze dried strawberries too. So good for the carbon footprint and tasty too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great customers service. A wide selection of all health products. Weight and pour items in paper bags or bring in your own jars or boxes. Also refilled products too e.g laundry liquid and washing up liquid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ LOVE this place! Used to live in Auckland and frequent the Parnell location, so was extatic to find one in Christchurch.
In addition to providing a sustainable way to shop, the environment created in the shop is super inviting and modern. It's also always nice to go to a place where the employees take the time to learn and use your name.
I was pleasantly surprised to learn just how much I could buy in bulk! In addition to couscous, rice, flour, and nuts you can also get tea, spices, maple syrup, coconut oil, laundry detergent, almond butter and more! Couldn't recommend more!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic range of high quality items, and great concept with the refillery reducing packaging waste.
Super nice system to use too making it fast and easy to use your own containers - unlike some other bulk food places which can be a drag.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to goodfor as a treat for my birthday during the last lockdown, the team made my day by giving me my favorite vegan chocolate for free, it made my day! I love the different variety of df chocolate treats, organic grains and the different fruit teas you can get! The staff are super friendly as well and there is always parking across the road!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really appreciate its presence in Christchurch, as it helps and encourages us to reduce plastic waste with a pleasant shopping experience, however I find the price marking system a little fishy. The price is marked per 100g at the collection site, but the checkout counter shows prices per 1kg. I know it is just a matter of moving a decimal to the right, but yesterday when I just randomly attempted to confirm the price of one of the items I was buying, there were few factors that made it a bit challenging, which gently pushes the consumers to trust the store staff rather blindly (I haven't doubted the precision of product measurement or price calculation before).
What I think makes price confirming in the store challenging is since I don't know the weight of products at the time of collecting, I can't have a rough value of the item in the brown bag, so the only way to confirm the price is the number shown at the counter which is in a different unit. SO, when I spontaneously felt a desire to confirm the price of the coconut sugar I brought to the counter, I had to remember the price the item (I bought 5+ items at the time), calculate to match the unit, and calculate based on the weight. And when I somehow managed to do all this quickly, I had to confront the staff with price difference that was greater than 5 dollars/kg. After the staff checked the validity of my claim, I did not get any apology but a quite nonchalant reply "we must have updated the price recently."
I can't and don't want to go into the store having to deal with all the numbers at a decimal level, nor do I want to be deceived whether it's intentional or not. As much as I like Good For, it was disapponting and unpleasant to experience distrust. To be honest, I can't help feeling that if I spent more time checking prices for all the items I was buying and bought before, there would've been more of these "price updates"
