★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enjoy shopping at this place, I usually buy organic products from here and with a family member being gluten intolerant I find what I need at Gourmet Trader. They also have yummy cakes which my children enjoy. Close to a daycare right across the road and other shops at Gate Pa shopping centre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very dissapointed with the lack of empathy shown yesterday. We have a mask exemption...after a customer shook her head at us, we were confronted by a staff member saying we had to wear a mask. Explained about exemption, didn't matter. Said we have conditions, didn't care, said: "I've already had the authorities in here and I'm trying to keep 24 staff employed" Thanks for making us feel like pariahs, we sincerely hope you realise soon what that does to people like us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was a regular customer and have really enjoyed the many products I've bought there, but on a recent visit I looked up and realised that most of the customers and all of the staff were swanning around without masks on.
15 people died of Covid in NZ that day, and over 700 people were in hospital. Covid-19 is a highly infectious, airborne virus and masks are necessary to prevent it's rampant spread.
Medically vulnerable people rely on the rest of us to do our part and help them stay alive. Take the pandemic seriously and stop being so selfish.

I always love shopping here. I do alot of baking & make most of my Xmas presents. Gourmet Trader has an extensive range of products to choose from. No problem to find a park. Amazing Staff.

Dave took the time to answer all of my questions and even carried the blender out to my car. Competitive pricing to that of big box stores but it feels better to support a local business. Highly recommend this lovely store - will be back for sure.
