Total love, care nourishment, warmth the meal prepared the next day was so divine, you can tell that Eva takes deep care and pride in her space and holding space for others, we were beyond blessed!

Eva keeps the facilities spotlesly clean with the room ideally situated for the sun
On arrival down to earth Eva is always the same providing a great continental breakfast
To top the visit off weather you stay or not are Eva's massage sessions very professional and you feel so much better after she has finished.
We have stayed here a number of to es and always enjoy going back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful peaceful quiet sanctuary overlooking the whole Lyttelton harbour and Governors bay. I really enjoyed my stay, amazing bird songs, sheep and a horse just outside the window. Magnificent sunsets and sunrises from the bedroom - all you can wish for.
The room is very tidy and spacious. I especially enjoyed the view of the harbour from the bathtub!
A very short walk to the sea and to local She Chocolate Cafe.
The service is excellent, very filling, healthy, fresh made breakfast.

I always look forward to coming back to the Governors Bay B & B every year to relax and rejuvenate. The food is home cooked and so tasty which just adds to the feeling of being in a health spa without the price tag. Thank you for creating such a wonderful place. Highly recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is right out of a fairy tale! The view on the ocean, these beautiful animals and flowers on the property ... The quality of the sleep you can get is incomparable. And the food is so delicious : all organic, healthy, home-cooked. And Eva is the most gracious hostess I even encountered in my life! She makes you feel so welcome and comfortable and her gentleness makes you feel good. Her massages and healings are also experiences I recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here the night of our wedding after getting married nearby. It couldn't have been more perfect. Set in a beautiful location. Very spiritual and magical house built by the owners. Lots of very special little touches everywhere including homemade butter for our bagels at breakast time along with fresh fruit salad and an array of delicious food for the soul. Highly recommend for absolutely anyone that is considering staying here.
