★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice, quiet and cozy retreat to de stress. We were greeted by a very cheerful young Indian girl with a great smile at the reception. The service was great and the amenities (especially the warm pool in this cold weather) were more than adequate. The restaurant staff were also very friendly and the food very enjoyable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Covid clean im not sure about ? Arrived late got lost , lol , was a dark rd in a forest surrounded by cicadas in their natural environment . But to find a big black spider on the bath room door , what other crawling insects get in .lol spider cob webs under old drawer possibly a breeding ground for baby spiders , staff don't want to assist as um ?I dunno , better not be cause I'm a indigenous cultured nz Maori Woman , I dress for comfort , not just business , I'm away on business , not in the office , it's mac in lobby not working 3 times I asked for info just to get my pass from the covid website . Car park is 150 m from my room . Have to walk in the rain . ?, got wet after gym , carts to no availability , unless for staff only. My photos have been sent to Accor live limitless , after staying in Grand Mecure in Wellington was so much more designer detail , if puka Park, was all about the client , perhaps a few more precautionary measures . I had to strip the room to fund what kind of spider bit me , I saw a big black one and then after trying for to use the ironing board which the cover was stained I decided not too . Under the bed was dusty . ?under the blanket wardrobe was full of cobwebs the breeding ground for spiders . Just not sure which ones ? poisonous possibly . Mosquitoes carry viruses and look up ross river virus it's evident Mosquitoes these days can harm us

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were here in October 2019 and stayed 2 nights in a small bungalow. It was well furnished, had a balcony and decent sanitary facilities. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food and drinks were also o.k. The beautiful and uncrowded Pauanui Beach on the Bay of Plenty is only 850 m away, a 12-minute walk away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Puka Park is special and private among the trees. Accommodation is fabulous and so is the restaurant and bar with very high quality food options. Take a hike up Mount Pauanui or ride their bikes up the river trail. Our home away from home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chalet In the midst of the Forrest, beautiful and relaxing settings makes early morning stroll a task that everyone is looking forward to. Quiet. Has own restaurant or can eat in the town centre. Not a place for older people that have walking issues, can be quite hilly. Good for couples, or families with children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had our wedding here and it was the perfect day. Such an amazing and unique location. Customer service was second to none. So professional and accommodating and made the whole experience as stress-free as possible. Food was good and everyone commented on how much they enjoyed the day.

Located on the hillside of Pauanui in a bush setting this place really delivered.
As soon as u drive up the driveway u know this place will be good.
Plenty of parking and there are a range of chalet selections surrounding the main building, restaurant/bar, pool and gym and tennis courts.
The pool was heated and the spa was awesome ??. We never used the sauna or gym or the tennis court.
There is also mountain bikes available for use.
The room was spacious with a really nice deck out the back.
It was really clean and very warm and cosy.
The bathroom was a good size with a tub and good shower.
The restaurant was really nice. Had a grand feel about it and was warm clean and well lit. The food was amazing and so were the staff throughout the complex.
I booked online and it was very easy and a smooth check in.
We totally recommend going here and will go again.
