★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent location, clean and comfortable facilities, and lovely, helpful staff. We stayed in a double room in the Backpackers Lodge, and thought it was one of the nicest backpackers we've stayed in (and there have been a few...) Spacious and sociable layout with a great, well-appointed kitchen and clean bathrooms with excellent showers. We were also able to park on site, which I think is trickier at busier times (we stayed in late February), but there's other parking nearby. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking to visit this beautiful part of Coromandel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bit pricey for what it was, but good location and nice service. I wouldn't recommend the room next to the laundry because the driers squeak a lot. I really did appreciate the private BBQ and the little patio out front of the room. Kitchenette was all good for 2 adults and a child, and the shower water pressure was great! Next time I'd happily go back but maybe get a different room unless they have serviced the laundry machines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice andclean, almost tropical Resort even in autumn. Great neighbours in walking distance, too: a rustic brewery, scrumptious Cafe fare, quirky art and a fantastic beach... not to mention Cathedral Cove!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the perfect place to stay. The owners have really nice little details with their guests, it's pretty clean, comfy and the location is just perfect. The gardens are beautiful and just in general has everything you could really need. Also it's just 5 minutes from the beach and the owners are really friendly and kind. Totally recommended.

stayed. Good kitchen facilities, adequate showers. The staff and owners were welcoming and friendly. The lodge is set in such a peaceful setting, lovely gardens. Very close to the beach and shops.We enjoyed our walk to the cove. Highly recommend.
