I just ❤️ ? their roast ?? meal cost $23.00 Enough for my partner and me. Roasted potao?and ? and ? and ??and graveysauce yummy You can either eat it there or taken away Service staff are very friendly helpful ????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely terrible. Poor service from the man working today, he was unfriendly, refused to put mayo on my pork roll. The roll was very soggy, it was gross. No non sugar drink options either for the combo meals. Just a really bad experience from top to bottom and I will never be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We felt like roast dinner so thought of this place as been before awhile back, think new owners. At first the food tasted good but the meat on its own not covered in gravy had a smell to it ? not long after and following the next day we were sick! This is a family of 5 including children!! We will not be eating from here again. If you are selling old meat you will lose customers. Not happy at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The gravy is so... nothing... it actively subtracts flavour from everything else.
The rest of the food is fine and you get a decent amount for the price point. It will never win any awards but you can at least count on the beef and pork to be moist.
Even the potatoes, which I would argue are the best thing on the menu, are just made worse by the gravy.
To be clear the gravy doesn't taste bad. No. simply, it... tastes like nothing, instead adding a wet flavour to everything and making you feel like your meal had been washed along with the last batch of dishes
I have never added this much salt to a meal before, usually I don't add any. It didn't do anything except make me thirsty.
Only go for affordable sustenance. Not if you enjoy eating.

Ordered a large pork roast, was decent, not stingy with the meat or the crackling, the roast potatoes were very tasty.
Biggest disappointment is that the pumpkin isn't roasted but instead steamed or boiled, which has a much different texture and flavor to roasted, and I suspect the kumara was also steamed or boiled which is gutting cause who doesn't love a bit of roast kumara? I think for $22 for the large it was ok for value, I could have probably split the container in to 2 meals (I didn't I smashed it in 1). Would buy it again if I was getting roasted kumara and pumpkin.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We used to be regulars, however the quality has plummeted recently. Over the last few weeks the meat has been tough and bland, probably not roasting for long enough. Ironically the veggies are soggy so at least something's getting plenty of time in the pot.
On the positive side, there's no complaints from my dog, he scoffs the meat down without hesitation, however I suspect he's not very discerning when it comes to this sort of thing.
Unfortunately we won't be back, which is a real shame as I like to support local businesses.
