★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fun wandering around but not really what I'd call a farmers market. Some fruit and a mushroom stand but no tables of produce like other markets. Yes there's bread, cheese, chocolates and cider etc but I would've liked some multicoloured tomatoes, fresh salad greens, eggplant, cucumbers etc

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Market was so busy but at the same time happening too. Dogs are not allowed so they have dogs sitting care area. Market is located at water streams which is very relaxing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Though there's not particularly many farmers to really merit the name farmer's market, this is a delightful morning out. There's plenty to eat and see and the location is a delight (tucked in between intriguing local shops and a charming river). There's even a playground, tame goldfish and wild eels to spot if you need to keep small children entertained.

Markets on Saturday food is yummy but the price are dear and once a month we will drive up there 1 hour 45 minutes there just to buy the farmer's honey and other produce. Some of the food are very special and unique for our tastes and we like the oyster very fresh and good value for money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely market in the small area Matakana. I would say all the products here in the market are all high qualities. It includes handmade pieces, food, art pieces, seafood, live music, wine and honey etc.
Every Saturday 8am to 2pm. Worth visiting.

Products display neatly, More options here as well.
All the shops around the markets definitely add much more attractions to people coming here.
Beautiful stuff have been offered from the local shops. It is definitely worth visiting.
