★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I googled your website after seeing the feel good story by Syeve Sharp from One News about your cheesemaker Zev with the winning grin and Billy T laugh :) I actually reside in Brisbane so have yet to taste your cheese but come home to NZ frequently to visit my whanau that live in the far north. Now i know where you are will call in to sample your goods first hand and of course spread the good word. Well done Zev your work and efforts are appreciated as is testimony with your awards and no doubt support from your employer. What a shining example that at the end of the day it is people which make the heart and soul of a workplace :)

Woolleys Bay Havarti grilled and served with fresh asparagus salad and steak... cheese platter loaded with green grapes, oranges, Parihaka Brie was soo creamy on the palette and Cumin & Garlic just perfect on the cheeseboard. Such a great treat for special occasions and everyday dishes. We were impressed the cheese is "Handmade on the day of milking" and are thrilled we can find you at Whangarei Grower's market on weekends. Delicious experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchased Grinning Gecko cheeses at the Old Packhouse Market in Kerikeri several times and found them magnificent. Came across them in Whangarei last week and able to purchase more of their fabulous range. Can't recommend them highly enough. Also in the same place in Port Rd Whangarei at the Bakers Crust, they have some of the best pies we have tasted in NZ in the past 6.5 years of continuous travel.

Their staff promptly followed up and were very open to acknowledging the feedback and providing a replacement free of charge - which tasted great! We will look out for their pop in store the next time we are passing through Whangarei.

He was proud of the awards he & the company have won over 5 consecutive years for 7 or more categories.
We enjoyed the cheese tasting & explanation of how it was made.
There is an enclosed viewing area for people to watch the process of making the cheese.
