★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the second bad experience I have had at this store. They ordered in a product for me, great they new I was not a resident of whangarei (150km round trip from my place) but I had to go to on a certain day, today. I recieved a phone call from them last week saying it had arrived and explain that I wouldn't be over there till today whilst driving over I missed a phone call. When I got there they said sorry we sold it we tried to ring you. Second time for bad service won5 bother going there again and if anyone asks me won't recommend them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WARNING. They advertise products that are either out of stock or not available. Is it to get you into a store to sell you something else? Its a long drive for us to go into town to buy a item only to find "save" barn had actually cost us fuel at $2.98 a litre traveling 70ks to discover the "IN STOCK" on their website is simply either a lie or laziness to update their website. Either way, they can't be trusted. We contacted them to vent the spleen and got offered a discount of $4.45....in postage. Most serious businesses who VALUE their customers would have sent it freight free?? Not this mob.
We declined. They are thankfully not the only game in town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I brought universal motorcycle paddock stand. The stand was well made but wouldn't lift my bike. (no possible way to test beforehand without taking home and assembling the stand.) When I returned the product in new saleable condition I was shown their refund policy which said they would only refund if the item was damaged. The stand was 'unfit for purpose' according to the consumers guarantee act, but I was only offered a gift card instead of a refund, and unfortunately even that was given begrudgingly. Save Barn should step up and should have offered a full refund, just like other stores.

I was supplied with an incorrect product for my trailer. Supplied by them.
When I swaped the product for the correct one I was given a gift card instead of a refund. Gutted.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good store. If you plan to buy something from this place go last week of the month or 31st of the month. They will give you good offer or talk you in base of well customer relationship. Instead, if you go on next month you will get everything opposite way and when you speak to the sales man ( Not everyone) he will say " Have a Great day".
For me I just gone to buy a dryer it was 31st of last month the gentle man offer me the free delivery asap and he told he will try to give the day itself. We were really happy to take same day and he was really customer oriented . Unfortunately stock was not available. So he agreed to get on next friday (1st of month).
Then i went on friday to their store and the other gentleman checked the dryer and its already arrived in their store . When i spoke to him, he was totally refused the previous sales mans information and he told that it will take minimum of 10 days or more to deliver even if you pay ( i am living around 2km from store). i can understand same day is not possible. I was ready to wait 3-4 days and he didn't ask to me even. Moreover he don't want to change that delivery days from 10 days i think . The pont if you wait 5 days you can get directly from the company itself. It was really wonder for me a sales persons not interested to sell the items . Finally i disappointed and just came out from store.

Sat on one to try it out, only to be told by a staff member that I need to get off as “they actually want to sell it one day” insinuating that I was overweight for it at my 80kg.. there were no signs and other people were trying things out but for some reason I was not allowed to according to this older man. We were then followed around the store as though we were criminals, I think this is because we are farmers and were dressed as such. It’s a shame as we were looking at spending quite a lot of money at save barn today but after this interaction I’ll never be shopping here again. Very poor service
