I especially enjoyed the fact they ensured I would not hesitate to engage them again should the existing product I purchased did not meet my requirements
Only gripe would have been parking although that's hardly avoidable on GTW Petone themselves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My story went like this. Very helpful trye shop (and I won't mention who as they did try and didn't charge me so feel I need to give them some acknowledgement for trying). Had a puncture which they plugged. After the car shook like crazy at motorway speeds. After 3 trips back and all 4 wheels rebalaced it still vibrated. Next suggested step was to remove all the spacers and re align and try that. Went to see GTW for a second option and..they fixed it!!!. Liam at GTW took the time to show me the possible issue (hub centering ring in the mag) before going any further. He had a hunch that this was the issue. He removed it and the shake has gone (they shouldn't have been on the rims anyway and think the previous owner must of had after market rims on at some point). Nice work team. I'll be back for sure. Awesome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These guys were the only ones available and also willing to help us in our time of need as we just got a puncture on the main highway heading to Wellington making our way to the beehive. And we were on holiday heading home to Rotorua the next day being a Sunday at that. My husband changed the flattie but we still needed to fix or replace our tyre to get back to Rotorua and it was 1pm at this time on a Saturday too! Almost all tyres shops were about to close at 2pm so obviously I googled for the closest tyre shop and Tony's tyre service the yellow shop was just around the corner so we went there absolutely no cars or customers I thought yes but NO! The guy that came out said they were closed and it may have been 1.30pm at this time, to which I replied so yous are closed but yous are open?? They actually were still open but chose not to serve my van full of kids and I and husband, and I am quite pregnant too! Shocking!! I rung around still and only Tony's Tyre service shops were open and close to where we were but they all said they were closing soon. Finally I got these guys in Petone GTW Grip Tyres &... and they didn't take long at all, didn't wait long to be served and after all that it was a puncture cost just $20. I was so happy and very grateful they didn't just push us to the side like Tony's tyre service shops! in downtown Wellington central. We got home to Rotorua the next day perfectly fine too. I thought NO we're guna have to wait until Tuesday as it was Easter weekend too. But no GTW Grip Tyres &... Yous are the man! You waited for us to get there and actually did the job I so desperately needed there and then, literally!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently purchased four new rims and two new tyres from Grip Tyres & Wheels Limited in Petone as my original rims were damaged and one rim was badly cracked.
I spoke with Hayden on the phone and he went about doing all he could do to get the right rim for my van in both the best looking and best suited and at the best price and his services are second to none, i felt happy with what he was doing even before i went to the shop to look at what he had as options for me to choose from.
I had to get the rims replaced immediately and when i went online to look at where i could try to find them i was worried it would take days to sort through the many websites, but his website was the first i choose and i never looked back, his website is well presented and easy to use and then there is the one the phone and in person services he and his wonderful staff offer...they took the stress out of my life with this wheel issue by getting things sorted ASAP and that they did....within a couple of hours all was sorted and to a very high standard too.
The atmosphere there is like you would expect from a caring family run business and i own and run my own house and property washing business too and i totally support family owned businesses, there's something that large corporation businesses lack and i will always go to this company for all my wheel requirements.
5 stars for the 10 star services i got from you all there, huge thanks and gratitude for fitting me in at such short notice and for the friendly environment. You rock at what you do Hayden and i wish you the very best for the success in your business, you have not only an ongoing client but also a new friend too mate. (If i could give more that 5 stars i would)
