About Gubba Garden Sheds
Welcome to Gubba Garden Sheds, a family owned & operated Kiwi business. We are proud to be one of the largest independent sheds retailers in New Zealand, now offering over 100 customisable sheds from well-known and trusted Kiwi brands.
These NZ made brands include Duratuf, Smartstore, Pinehaven, Galvo, Garden Master & The Cedar Sheds. We also stock Keter – premium resin sheds that are made in Israel.
Our Story
It all began way back in 1988, before the internet was a household thing, and you could still call a spade a spade. David Graves developed a solution to a long-standing problem – garden tidy bags that didn’t stand. A keen gardener and entrepreneur, David grew tired of struggling to fill a garden bag with one hand while juggling to hold it open with the other, and before long the stand-open garden bag was born.
David took his new garden bag on a road trip around New Zealand in his station wagon and sold it wholesale to garden retailers. So successful was the original stand-open Garden Bag that he decided to expand the range, and very soon Gubba Garden Products was up and running.
Gubba steadily grew into an industrious business, and Gubba Garden Sheds was a natural next step in 2012. Since then we’ve grown from strength to strength, and are still proud to offer friendly, down-to-earth service and quality, genuinely useful products.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a shame we can't give no stars buckled ridge beam installed out of plumb and out of square they hung the door out of plumb to compensate totally shoddy go somewhere else or buy a cheaper shed and do it yourself took months to end up with a piece of junk

Communication awesome. Had it installed today by Tony and Brett from 0800 Mr Shed. Couldnt recommend the experience more. *****

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got a lot of attitude when I gave feedback when they rang to tell me I'd ordered pickup for a product they don't allow pickup for. The guy told me I "should have read the warning", "should have known they were an e-commerce business" etc so it seems they're not willing to understand the customer point of view or experience. (Their website allows this product to be ordered for pickup despite this option not being available). Explains the web ordering weaknesses. When this is the last thing you see before you hit "pay", you kind of remember it. When explaining this all I got was attitude that I hadn't properly read an early warning that the item couldn't be collected. There seems to be no interesting in understanding how the customer might interact with the way the site and process works.
