★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pump 8 I think, Transaction Error (nothing wrong with my card), Go to pump 4 (I think it was) so slow to fill I gave up at half tank. On paying told yes error with Pump 8, why nothing put on it to say so, no apology, poor poor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I travel up home regularly and this station is always my stop in for a petrol top up. I specifically use the self serve speed lanes to the far left as you enter from the south.
The toilets have always been in good shape and the staff have always been friendly during my stop ins.
They offer a range of quick snacks, drinks, and hot foods, as well as a good coffee top up. If nothing gets you excited, McDonald's is across the road for greasy food.
I've rated 4 stars because the air pump always seems to be broken - there's definitely a cheeky air pump fairy in Aotearoa that goes around breaking air pumps at various petrol stations. I think they secretly contract their services to local tyre suppliers ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything in the hot food department is dried up and disgusting. I had ambrosia and it tasted like the cream was off. The lollies in the pick n mix taste like they have been sitting there for years. I will not be eating from there again and I will not be recommending anyone to go there.

Get real Gull
It's a mission getting in and out of there going south so don't bother
Why not have the prepay swipe your card at the pump instead of having to go inside and told to guess? Bizzare
Left and won't be coming back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pumps on prepay, super long queue inside. Only at one pump you can pay by card. Come on Gull we are not in 90s anymore. Wanted to fill up but ended up driving away as I don't want to spend 30mins to fill up my car if I can do it at other stations in lest than 5 mins
