★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool dining experience, pretty quiet on a Sunday evening so felt relaxing. I had the Yaki Udon and it was tasty! My dining partner had a curry and it was good too. I want to try the Rice Burger next time! Will return. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had some tasty donburi for dinner here the other day on a stretch of road without many other great options. Good food good value. I had the chicken numban and the wife had aburi salmon. We split an agedashi tofu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely love this place, we had soft shell crab deep fried, pork and shrimp dumplings with crispy chicken on rice, delicious food!!!
The reason why I gave 4 stars is because of the customer service, she didn't understand what I was saying and she was looking at me as if I was going to do something terrible to her, then she just stared at me when I was at the bar, I had to ask her if she could serve me ?♀️ but other than that, the food is delicious ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been working in the area for about a year now and only decided to try Hachi Hachi Victoria street. Wow it was fantastic. Not sure why I didn't try earlier. Good selection of different types of foods. and the specials are worth the Visit. I had pork belly on rice for under $10. Very impressed ill be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there for the the $39 buffet with a friend. Our server for the buffet was lovely and attentive. Food quality has declined though, and servings sizes of some has reduced; namely the dumplings were merely preboiled, then heated at the bottom to crisp. It was barely warm when it was served, compared with the last time we visited in 2021 - the dumplings were piping hot. The matcha ice cream serving size has reduced to a pitiful amount. Which is a shame because it's their best item on the menu.
Other menu items were fine, just bear in mind that the wait are less attentive the closer to closing it is. They walk past with their heads down, or ignore you when you try to flag them for service. This is the last time I will be patroning Hachi Hachi.
