★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can say that this is a very nice more traditional Mexican food restaurant and bar.
The meals had some real tasty flavours and there was a good range of beers and wines.
Car parking is on the street and the main entrance is on the left side of the building as looking at it from the footpath.
Priced not cheap and not expensive this is a nice place for a chat and something nice to eat
Two years later the place must have stalled in time just as good and a great lively atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the moment you walk in, to the ambience, drinks, food, music everything, but most importantly what adds to the awesome vibes of this place, are the wonderful friendly staff, each and every one of them... this place is a must if you're in Christchurch. We were there from Auckland last Saturday night and we will definitely be going back! We were lucky, we managed to get a booking about 2 hours before. So best to book in advance as it gets very busy. Try everything on their menu ? ?????? ???

We had the potato skins and arrancini to start and then I went for something different to what I normally would and got beef skewers and zucchini as a side. It was delicious! And a classic marg too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good customer service. My husband has autism and we ask for another table and straight away they got the table prepared. They said go to the bar if we like to get our drinks. Straight away the bar lady told us the specials. Then our table was ready and they brought over our drink. Then we ordered straight away. The food was really nice and same with our slushie drinks. First time I've given a 5 star rating. We will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't usually like Mexican but this was an exception. Cornchips and dip was yummy, skewers, chicken and prawn tacos were delicious. The fish dish was tasty, a little dry on the edges around the plate but overall loved the experience and food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great atmosphere and loved the decor. The food came out quickly and fresh. I only have two critics : 1) as soon as we entered the restaurant, we waited for about 10 minutes before we were actually acknowledged albeit several wait staff walking passed us and 2) although food was delicious, the serving size was smaller than we expected which meant the $70 we paid for (1× entree, 2 x main & 1 drink) didn't stack up for us. I would go back again for the nachos but maybe visit the Dirty Lands instead.
