★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have had fluid retention in my feet and ankles for years, and thought it was just something I had to put up with. The team at Hands On Clinic have made that problem go away and my feet look as they should! Before I went to see Hans, I was sceptical a massage treatment would work, but my GP recommended going to the clinic. The treatment has worked so well that with monthly appointments, I simply don’t have a “fluid retention problem” anymore, even on long haul flights. Thanks Hans and the team!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am an elite middle distance runner, specialising in 3000m steeplechase. The Hands On team are a huge part of my recovery process, where I see them for regular deep tissue massages. My weekly training consists of gym work, running and jumping, which are high impact movements. When my body is going through this intensive training weekly I find that I am not recovering quickly enough to perform and train at my optimal. Regular massages play a huge role in ensuring I recover well and feel fresh and ready for the next weeks training or race.
The team at Hands On are always accommodating in finding an appointment that best fits me around my busy training schedule. They are also friendly and have a positive attitude, which makes every visit to Hands On an enjoyable one. I will continue to go to Hands On as it is a very important part of my recovery process. I highly recommend it to any athlete looking for professional recovery treatments.

He clearly has a great knowledge in injury prevention and treatment and has an impressive CV having worked with All Blacks, professional triathletes and at the Olympics and Commonwealth Games. But most important of all he was genuinely interested and understanding of my injury and recovery. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My GP suggested a holistic approach when my arm became severely swollen from an exercise induced muscle injury. He recommended a lymphatic draining massage at Hands On clinic alongside appropriate medication for a more effective recovery.
And Hans was brilliant. Very kind to slot me in for a session that very evening despite his busy schedule. He was well experienced and very passionate about his role, but more so for my recovery. And the result was incredible. Swelling went down by half within a day, GP was amazed with the result. Hans continued with follow up, focused on full recovery and prevention, was professional the whole way through. Great experience, amazing result, pleased I had been recommended here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I started Lymphatic Drainage massage with Hans over 2 years ago,I first recieved this type of treament elsewhere, however Hans knowledge and expertise was next level, best I have experienced, he is very professional and put me at ease immediately.
The regular treatments have been greatly beneficial for my sluggish sympathetic system, sinus relief, and fluid retention .
Also after travel on long haul flights the swelling of limbs and feet were so bad I could not get my shoes on, greatly to my relief Hans got immediate results after 1st session, and within a few days back to normal.
More recently I have also had massage therapy for very tight neck , and shoulders, which has given instant relief and ongoing huge improvement.
After a deep tissue injury on my lower leg I have some more amazing results .
The dedication to clients is truly evident , and for anyone seeking these types of treatments they cant go past Hands Massage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ About 2 ½ yrs ago I was carrying a range of injuries, which had accumulated to the point that I struggled to walk until my body warmed up. The Hands On team has got me back running pain free - and yep, I’ve set a few new pbs in the process. Hans has done so well that I now see him on a regular basis to keep all those activity niggles (sports + age + work environment) turning into a longer term injury setback. So I keep doing the things I enjoy for longer.
Really important though, while Hans is very good, it wasn’t just him that got me back on my feet. He is well connected with leading practitioners in other branches of rehabilitation. Which is critical when you’re trying to get to the root cause of why you’re injured in the first place and getting the right rehab plan for you.
