My wife purchased shoes here, the staff member charged my wife for a bag to carry the box in but did not tell her that there is a charge. My wife got home and found that the shoes were not what she likes so we took them back for a refund. Pauline at the till asked if she could help. When she found out that we wanted a refund the attitude changed. When she was busy processing the refund she lifted the paper bag up and said we can't refund you on the bag. I asked my wife did they really charge you for a paper bag? Pauline said in an attitude is there a problem. I said that if my wife was not told that there will be a cost for the bag that is not okay. She mumbled and moaned. She complained how it's making her job hard and will refund the bag as well. She gave us a 50c for it as she found that easier. When she was complaining that she won't refund I mentioned that we will just provide feedback on Google. After giving the refund she said your welcome to still give bad feedback on google if I like. She clearly did not care about the reputation of the store. Absolutely shocking service and we will not recommend this store. 2 star is only because the store looked neat and the other staff member seemed more friendly than Pauline.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in on Monday after having terrible service at another shoe store (not Hannahs). The shop assistant was amazing. Nothing was a problem, bent over backwards to help and suggest options. Ended up with two lovely pairs. Very happy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent shop assistant; she was attentive and helpful. She recommended the shoes she was wearing, which keeps dry and grips in the wet, which helped me feel like I was making the right decision - I usually buy New Balance, but this time copied her and bought Skechers. I usually buy black shoes, but thought the white looked nice & fresh.
