★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice quiet place to stay the night, and only a few minutes to town to get some dinner or breakfast. Unfortunately my daughter and I got eaten alive by something in the room but you can't control insects. Owner was lovely. Rooms were clean and tidy and comfortable. Kids loved having their own room.

I mentioned this to the owner/ hosts and when I arrived after I had finished work, they provided a lovely home cooked meal for me! I highly recommend this accomodation. The hosts are amazing and view was gorgeous. I will forever appreciate their kindness!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely, quiet and peaceful motel with stunning views over the harbour. A little dated but spotless and had everything we needed. Friendly management. Highly recommend taking a walk up the hill behind the motel for more stunning views and get the heart rate up!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this homely motel from a previous era with all home comforts. There are spacious rooms with a deck and truly lovely view. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bed comfortable. Excellent linen adds to the comfort. The hosts are warm and helpful. A real kiwi gem.
