★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anglers Lodge was a great experience. Very clean and well.managed accommodation, in a resort style setting. If you love the beach but prefer pool swimming this is the place for you. Large pool, hot spa and BBQ facilities in a lovely Bush setting across the road from the beach. Catering to mobile campers, or cabins, couples or large groups, you are made to feel really welcome by the helpful staff and management

Plenty of kahawai on the fly, unfortunately no kingfish.
Great location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice room, bad service in the morning. I wouldn't recommend this lodge, rude, and disrespectful, pitiful really? Such a shame, we would have booked out another room, in the same day. Make sure u leave the room at 10am sharp! and if u don't well tough luck on your part, regardless if it was prior discussed or not, rude service, never going there again!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Usual visitor to another camp ground in the area, we booked at this lodge because it was one of the few places left available. Man, were we glad that was the case or we would have never found out about this hidden gem. We stayed in one of the cabins that sleeps five people. It was super cosy and tidy, with a nice little lounge/dining area and kitchenette. The lodge supplied a jug, with sachets of coffee, tea and sugar. There were cups, glasses and wine glasses provided, as well as bowls, plates and utensils. Out the front was a deck that ran the length of both cabins (cabins 1 & 2 were adjoining) and was a great spot to sit for an evening brew or early morning coffee to catch the sunrise. The website said there was room to park one car but we found there was enough room to park both cars we had. We never got around to using the camp kitchen facilities, but the bbq area was great (just make sure you're not cooking around the same time as even one else, or there'll be quite a wait as there were only 2 bbqs). The pool there looked great, and was getting plenty of use from other families there. Toilets and showers were just a short walk from our cabin, and were always clean. They had a great boat launch/retrieval service, with adequate boat/trailer storage. Their fishing charter service was amazing (especially with it being my first time on a charter), the skipper Dawson looked after us, let us do our own thing and gave us pointers and tips when needed. His banter was top notch as well. The staff there were friendly and courteous, and made our time there such an amazing trip. So many great memories made over the short time we were there, we are already planning a return trip!! 10/10 rating from me and the others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been going to Anglers Lodge for the last few years and I can safely say it’s a consistent, well run, fishing lodge. What makes it easier for fisherman is the boat launching and retrieving service on a difficult ramp!
Everything is very reasonably priced! I highly recommend Anglers lodge to all beginner/intermediate fisherman.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best experiences I have ever had. Beautiful location, excellent facilities, awesome staff and team running it. Everyone was super friendly, professional and facilitating. Great knowledge of surrounding areas. Fishing charter was incredible, great atmosphere and awesome outcome. Also met some incredible people at the lodge. Highly recommend that Anglers lodge should be on everyone's to do list.
