★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful sheltered beach to swim at or picnic under the sprawling arms of a pohutukawa tree. The beach is safe for all the family with a pontoon just off shore to swim to. A favourite haunt! Centrally located and also known as Pt Chevalier Beach, there is plenty of parking.
