★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This tag is for the track, it leads you to but it's not for the waterfall. You could actually drive to the top of the stairs to the waterfall. The track itself is through trees, along farm-vehicle track and has ups and downs, it's lengthy with not much of a view. It is nice to walk your pets or kids. Otherwise I don't see why people would come here unless the reside in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful track through native bush. You could just drive to the waterfall end but you would miss out on some amazing little spots along the trail. I especially loved the loop track, it's like you went back in time to how NZ used to be. Waterfall is great too and has an interesting history to it that you can read about on the big sign on the way down to it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little walk, good for those getting back into it or beginners. At slow pace and a bit of time at the water fall, it’s about 40 minutes each way, otherwise for experienced hikers, quick 25 minutes each way or even faster if you run it.
