★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was turned away at the registry when I approached to order my favourite curry. A man by the name of Will had aggressively yelled "Hey!" at me, then proceeded to gesture towards a chiseled wooden sign with the words 'No shirt. No service." carved into it. Tears filled and fell from my eyes as my embarrassment had shone much brighter than the anger I also felt. How could I have forgotten to wear a shirt? The question plagued me for days. From here I was admitted to a mental hospital as my brain was as scrambled as the eggs on my favourite pizza. Although, this story did not end here, I did not give up and submit to the tortuous shock therapy I was made subject to. I fought back, I made friendships, I found love, and eventually managed to escape via the brute strength of a Native American man that had shattered the window of a room and allowed me to escape. That man was the reason I am here today, the reason I can share this story. I owe everything to him and I am eternally grateful.
