β β β β β Excellent pies. The steak, mushroom and cheese is my favourite. The pies don't fall apart and yet have a lovely flaky top. They have large steak chunks.
The fried chicken is average.
The lamingtons are enormous.

The food is fresh, tasty & average prices.
The manager took a bit of warming. She is nice to me, smiles and is helpful with packing.
There's some not nice comments about her, I would assume it's because a lot of people are curt or unfriendly in general to staff behind counters. I found her neutral initially.
There is always a queue, that has to be a good sign, right?!

β β β β β This place is a little treasure. Their hot chips are the best - I have no idea what the actual flavor of the salt they use is, but it is so delicious and I've never found it anywhere else. Their mince and mince and cheese pies are delicious - full of actual meat that isn't just gravy pretending to be meat, and it's not gritty like it can often be in pies from other places. Custard squares are divine, cheesecake slice is a little piece of heaven, and the cream donuts are amazing. There's too many tasty things to list here! ?
