★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Vietnamese flavours, fresh and spicy! I have the banh mi and pho for lunch often, both are so delicious. The staff are super friendly and h the food is prepared very quickly every time! Very affordable too, compared to most lunch spots in Newmarket.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like Pho and I already tried the one at Otahuhu. This one is also good! The small portion of Pho is not too small, which is good for me! The Vietnamese coffee taste so authentic (you know it is kinda rarebto have Asian coffee around). I’ve been here twice and I definitely come again!

We all understand that COVID would have had an impact on your demand but feeding your customers stale bread is not the way to go.
I would much rather pay more for your food then get 2 days old bun and tiniest slices of meat!
Not coming back again

Really bad service by the staff here in the newmarket branch of hello mister.
I usually get my lunch from here on weekdays as the food is always good, but I usually get points when I scan my goody app.
This time when I went there, the staff clearly refused to scan my card for points, as they said that they don't have the system to do it anymore. No apologies, no nice behavior, nothing. Straight up reply with attitude.
I dont think it is my fault if your system isn't working, and a customer only wants to be explained properly why it is not working. But I was given an attitude.
When I asked to talk to the manager named (Dana or something), someone else came up to me (not a manager) and wasn't courteous at all (not rude but still).
Bad service I would say, and would think before coming back to this place now even though I loved their food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came for a fairly late lunch around 1500. They were out of bread for the bahn mi so I went with a beef pho and a couple of hand rolls.
the pho was quite nice. The broth was really fragrant and nice flavour. It also came with hosin and chilli sauce on the side. The hand rolls were ok. I tried the braised pork and the lemongrass chicken as the duck was also sold out. I found it a bit bland, mostly tasting of the vermicelli. the dipping sauce helped. I did find the skin on the braised pork to be a bit chewy.
Although they are mostly for takeaway, there were a few seats on the benches around the kitchen to eat in. The food was quite nice and not bad considering they have just recently opened.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hello Mister has become my favorite no brainer lunch spot at work as I’m always satisfied with my choices and it’s always a good time for Vietnamese when I’m feeling indecisive.
Staff is super warm and friendly and I’m an avid fan of the Madam Mi with lemongrass chicken and lots of chilli, Aunty Bun with Crispy Pork or the Pho with lemongrass chicken laden with chilli.
I also like that Hello Mister is sustainable minded with their packaging. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hello Misters is one of my favourite Vietnamese places in Auckland. I only wish they had a location more central like dominion road! Their bún salad bowls are delicious and the handmade rolls are also great. All pretty reasonably priced for the great quality provided.
