One of the fish dish was freshly cooked & tasty.
Fried food were OK.
Overall, Khao San is a lovely little Thai restaurant in Newmarket.

We started with the Satay Chicken and then had the chicken pad Thai, Red curry, Crispy Lava Chicken and a lemongrass steamed Fish on Bell’s recommendation. The food was so well flavoured and super filling. Also really good portions. Thank you for giving us such wonderful service ❤️ Amazing start to our Christmas celebrations

Disagree to me that you can’t get a decent lunch like this in Newmarket at this price. I look forward to see the place jam pack after my recommendation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious and authentic Thai food. We always get the whole fried fish with tamarind sauce or Esan style and both are to die for! Rama satay lover is perfect for younger palates. Mango sticky rice on the menu but unfortunately had sold out. Will just have to come back!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was alright. I had some kind of sukiyaki beef dish, of which the sukiyaki flavour was mild. When I left I found myself really thirsty, despite drinking plenty of water while I was there.. the food didn’t taste overly salty so not sure if there was a little msg in the mix or what but it did taste good so I don’t mind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dope. While I haven't eaten here yet, the food on other tables looked fantastic. The establishment as a whole is clean. It's also sexy in a classy way; outstanding artwork with tasteful and warm decor. Funky atmosphere with Thai flavor. The cocktails we ordered were top quality and smashed to perfection (as a former bartender myself), plus they were delivered with a smile. I highly recommend. There were excellent happy hour deals too, so we'll certainly return to try them. Outstanding service. We had multiple staff checking on us without being obtrusive. Ours was a short trip, but guaranteed to get us to return. I'll update next time with the food. We'd eaten, but I was hungry just walking in the premises.
