I was trying to get through since 8.40am to check in my Vaccine shot, while waiting outside for 13 minutes as per your notice on door to wait in the car…and my calls kept going to answer machine saying..”you have called after hours”..??? So I walked straight in since others were entering , and thats when I was told, they have turned off the phone lines..???? There were 2 receptionists, about 4 people plus me waiting. I would advise for you guys to at least turn on your phone lines from 8am as per your online details on Google or put some information so people may know whats happening, incase of important calls from your registered patients like me and others. You guys here to help the Public on good medical terms and especially at this time of need..!!!??? Thanks

Our family medical center for about 8 years. We have always felt supported, safe and cared for over the years. Staff are professional and kind throughout all visits.

Henderson Skin Clinic, saw Wendy who was very friendly and professional. She explained everything. Costs have reduced for the skin clinic so also very happy with that as well. Thank you Wendy.

New to west Auckland, saw this placed and my whole family enrolled to the practice. My husband found a lump and made a appt, we got there and the doctor who was the old man. The first thing he said before any medical question was “ do you need time off “ who asks that before examining their client . My husband said his lump doesn’t hurt but it’s growing. He then checks says it’s not a cyst but says if it hurts more go hospital. As if that wasn’t the reason we were there in the first place . By the end of the week he was dignosed with Cancer stage 3. The doctors at the hospital were very upset bout the examination of this doctor and could’ve referred him earlier to prevent the spread . I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DISGUSTING place and their poor service to the community. It’s big for nothing. Rude reciptionst idk why they have so many when you can never get a booking.

I've been a patient at Henderson Medical Centre for 4+ year's now and I've seen changes with staff and management throughout this time. Dr Manuel Fontanilla left earlier this year and I was apprehensive about the new doctor my patient file will be transferred to. However, today I had the pleasure and honour of meeting my new GP Dr Ash (Ashraff) Eilyaas. What a breath of fresh air! Dr Ash's approach is friendly, direct, honest and frank. When time is of the essence, it is crucial you get your viewpoint across and this was achieved in our appointment. When I left the medical centre, I had a massive smile on my face, I was happy that Dr Ash listened and heard me and I left feeling free and liberated...a weight had been lifted. You're worth your weight in gold Dr Ash! And a big thank you to the ladies at the front desk for being friendly and welcoming. Love your work ❤

Generally I’m not an unhealthy person so the occasional visit to the medical centre once a year doesn’t usually warrant a review, however having recently suffered a major back injury after some initial hiccups getting an MRI’s referral sorted & feeling incredibly frustrated I received a phone call from a senior staff member (Jason Leigh) who apologised for the ongoing errors & promised to handle things for me personally. Well, this man deserves a pay rise….. It’s always nice to have someone on the inside who wants to help & Jason has done that over & over again. Dr Ash too & the lovely staff on the front desk are always smiling & eager to help. Not everyone has such a sunny disposition, but I’m going to be polite & say it’s got to be hard given our current pandemic status & overall my experience at the medical centre has usually been a positive one. I did have one bad situation with one of the nurses who threatened to throw me out, mind you I couldn’t walk so that would’ve been hilarious & therefore I guess we were both having a bad day, however there’s no excuse for bad manners & having been on stage for many years, you should never let people see when you’re having a bad day & you shouldn’t be abrupt with patients, it’s your job & they’re sick or in pain! But apart from that, Jason I wish there were more people like you who go the extra mile! Well done team

This practice is mud. You could call first thing in the morning and almost all the time be told that they are fully booked. You are charged through the roof for services that in no way meet the level to be charged that much. Reading the reviews, it also looks like you will be met with defensiveness rather than a professional view of how to improve their practice. I mean, that's what the point of this rating system is, right? So yes, after years of holding out hope that they will improve - I will be enrolling elsewhere, cheers ??

After 18+ years of being at this medical centre. In recent years have felt rushed out the door and not listened to. Now the same from their admin manager. They don’t care. $50 consult charges. You will find many medical centres that charge half that price. *Lovely response below. Thank you. We have enrolled elsewhere*
