★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I approached Herb to design and make the perfect engagement ring for my partner. We had a couple of initial consultations and Herb kept me updated throughout the whole process. The finished product was better than anything I had imagined at our first consultation. Truly fantastic craftmanship and excellent finish. My now fiancé was blown away with her ring and we are now in the process of having our wedding bands designed and made by Herb. Would highly recommend Herb to anyone looking for that special touch and attention to detail. Thanks again Herb!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found Herb through a fb recommendation and went in thinking I would need to redo my entire wedding and engagement rings (purchased elsewhere). Herb listened to what I wanted, asked why exactly I wanted to redo and then came up with an extremely cost effective yet fantastic modification that truly met my requirements ? It's been over 10 years since I have watched someone sketch a jewellery piece to such detail right in front of me. Brought back so many memories ⭐
Excellent service. Truly understands what you Really want out of a jewellery item that you are originally unhappy with. I'm very happy with the process and will update with the end item ?
Update: Just collected my ring. It is gorgeous and so comfortable to wear now. I am extremely pleased with Herb's craftsmanship and service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to get my ring fixed which entailed reenforcing a tiny chain link across the band. I came to Herb after another jeweler said the job couldn’t be done (or they wouldn’t do it). He was honest with me explaining the intricate details of the task and the risk involved with repairing the unique piece. After chatting for a bit I felt confident leaving the special gift with him. About a week later I picked it up and am so happy he was able to do what others wouldn’t try. And now I know a bit more about my delicate ring and how to care for it. Highly recommend :) Thanks Herb!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Could not rave more highly about Herb and the rings he has designed my now husband and I! Firstly, he created the most stunning engagement ring which I was blown away by. Then when I came with ideas for my wedding band, he not only ran with it but created something so much more beautiful than I could have hoped. I felt educated and fully a part of the process all throughout. My husband was also presented with so many options for wedding bands, and was able to create something unique but also stunning! We couldn't recommend Herb enough!

I had a look at other jewelers, and they all seemed to be generic and overly expensive. Going to Herb and Sandra, I was greeted with a very family orientated atmosphere where your ideas and opinions were heard, adopted, and executed. Herb took my rough sketch and many inspirational pictures and created works of art in the form of a beautiful engagement ring and wedding bands. Herb and Sandra, it was a pleasure working with you. What you have created is unique and I believe that it will become a family heirloom for future generations. I look forward to working with you on other projects in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were absolutely disappointed in the process and of the final quality and appearance of the ring received. A big regret for having chosen Herb. We are having the ring remade elsewhere at our own cost with setback of $1900 as Herb suggest we go to disputes to have our problems remedied but we didn't have enough time before our wedding or the tolerance for the ongoing stress. Not the kind of extra stress and setback we need while planning for our special day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wedding ring supposed to be a memorable one but this ring and place hasn’t got a good or comfortable memory for us.
1."the ring design wanted by my partner was not quite considered by Herb Merkle. No detailed drawings were provided initially, resulting in a different design to what my partner wanted" (even though provided photos and detail)
2. he ended up try to achieve what my partner wanted.
But did not quite meet the deadline. I had a plan to propose on valentines ( I couldn’t plan because I wasn’t sure ring will be ready by then) because there was no update until same day on valentines.
Even though contacted multiple times and herb did not answered.
3. Changed attitude after paying (response were quick by day and night ) couldn’t get hold of him easily after paid in full
4. I did not get any payment option or receipt. What I only received was piece of paper that his bank account written. And I asked for a receipt he said my bank account transaction would be it.
5. Even though I found (Uneven shoulder, dent and scratches on ring) those fault he told me it would be my requests and this will be final inspection. Without any apology.
I do not understand, How brand new diamonds ring has this kind of problems. I only could think of Herb Merkle design rushed and overlooked our job even though he has enough time.
Ended up we going some other jeweler to fix this problem.
