โ โ โ โ โ My girlfriend and I wanted to try HIBACHI even when they were still constructing the restaurant. Now we finally came here and what an experience! Super fresh sashimi assortment (devoured it before taking a pic so that says a lot!) and tasty salmon poke bowl. The salmon steak was delicious and came with miso. Oh and great wasabi! Best authentic Japanese restaurant in Christchurch, hands down.

โ โ โ โ โ Absolutely delicious meal it was. Me and my mate had dinner at Hibachi and we both were quite impressed with whole experience and taste. It was good to see something different in Christchurch too. Whole having charcoal bbq infont of you was very warming and cozy experience especially this cold time of season.
Meats were juicy and literally melts in your mouth! A5 wagyu and ribs were my favorites. I would definitely recommend this place!

The seafood and beef were all fresh and tasty. The staff were attentive.
The ambience of the restaurant makes you feel as if you were in Tokyo.
Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for an exquisite experience or drinks with friends.

โ โ โ โ โ Best bbq restaurant in town. The quality of meats were fantastic and the charcoals they use were incredibly good. The staffs were super friendly and the service was perfect. I would recommend this fabulous restaurant to all of my friends and family. Thank you Hibachi team you made my day.

โ โ โ โ โ Went here with my partner for dinner today and we had an incredible time, we ordered the Kobe set, which was fairly reasonably priced considering the 80g of A5 wagyu that came with it. The service was amazing, and very attentive. Even though we took almost 2 and a half hours to get through all the food we were never made to feel unwelcome.
Attached some pictures below. Would highly recommend for anyone with a love of Japanese food or good beef

โ โ โ โ โ I visited there during my travel. I was a little worried because I was alone, but I didn't really need to. The staff were so friendly and nice and the food was amazing! The meat literally melted in my mouth!!!
It was the best experience in Christchurch. Highly recommend for those who want to treat themselves with high quality food!!

โ โ โ โ โ Delicious food using proper charcoal. Meat was so tender, nice flavour. Fun and tasty cooking on hibachi. I will come back and try more food. Front of house seems bit of lucking on communication but very nice staffs. I guess its a new place and still progressing. Highly recommend to try the food.
