★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was great! Great service as we knew nothing about ramen haha and had to ask what it was about! So glad we did, it was the most filling dish and was perfecto for Christchurch's cold wintery weather we have atm! Definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is always nice, I always order a Regular size bowl and a choice of 2 meats. But I have noticed discrepencies in the quantities lately. Most the times the portions are generous, which is why most people come to Katsubi ! Then on occccasions, like today, they're not even filling the bowl. Also, half the employees are nice and polite, smiling in spite of the face mask... the other half makes you feel like you're a bother. Especially the older lady.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friends and I ate here and from the moment we tried the teriyaki chicken? It was foul. But not only that, my friend got home and spent half the night vomiting, and we’re absolutely disgusted. The chicken must’ve been sat out for a while.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t get me wrong, the food is delicious but the service is poor. On multiple occasions myself and many of my friends have been given below average service! Examples being ignored requests, being spoken over, spoken to rudely and huffing and puffing when choosing “more veggies” than one. In the beginning, I couldn’t fault the place but now things have changed. Disappointing

Multiple times now, I have had just ignore what I asked for in my selection of salads, when repeated and clearly heard to then miss out of what was I asked for. Then serving minute sizes of meat when I paid for a regular box. If you're running low on meat, don't charge for full bowls, say 'we are running low, maybe we can do a mini bowl' before people pay
