Absolutely not suggested, we ordered a ramen and prawn tempura, I really canโ€™t dig in to the sushi, firstly the sushi isnโ€™t fresh, secondly the sushi on the train isnโ€™t covered, also the ramen doesnโ€™t taste like pork at all, itโ€™s just sweet and itโ€™s not even Japanese, itโ€™s like Japanese ramen in Chinese style soup, also the prawn tempura is a complete let down, the prawn is completely flavorless, the tempura source is literally tastes like water. Lastly the main problem is that THE JAPANESE RESTAURANT IS NOT USING JAPANESE RICE! Iโ€™ve never seen a Japanese restaurant that are not using Japanese rice, this restaurant is a complete let down. P.s. the sushi rolls isnโ€™t even the same size

Yum! Best sushi train ever! Yummy great variety of sushis and more food. There are some snacks for the kids too. Prices vary from the plate color. You can be full at $40 with small family or with a partner! Really amazing one of my favourites!

It's a bit tricky to find as it's upstairs, but otherwise a really great little Christchurch location. Some good sakes to choose from, a sushi train and menu options provide for all tastes. Prices can be a bit steep for the top stuff but it is a good place for a quick bite. Booths make it quite private at well. Service is super fast and friendly. See photos for some other options if you don't want the train items.

Personal new favourite in town! Highly recommend the salmon sashi! Fresh, creamy and super tender! Ramen (tonkotsu also very lovely) with super rich broth. Lots of beverages to choose from as well. Five star! Will definitely come back many times in the future. :)

Probably one of the best (if not, the best) sushi trains in Christchurch. Well priced - you can find most of the common sushi for under $5, with the fancier seafood dishes above that. My average spend is often around $25-$30 here. Has many hot food items too as well as specialty sashimi dishes to order. The boats are great! Dessert options offered too. Would recommend!

Good japanese food. Good environment. Wasabi has a high kick... The only thing not so good is the sushi train is always empty when reached our seats. Only snacks and drink left. We ended up ordering from the menu. U may park at The Crossing and bring along the ticket to be paid by the restaurant.
