★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chanced upon this place when we are en route from Queenstown to Wanaka during our holidays in Nov 2019. Loved the dishes and the "entertainment" by the chef. Ambiance is lovely and the prices are reasonable.
Update (June 2022): And we are back when the NZ Borders are open! Back for the entertainment and the food quality and service is impeccable as always!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ absolutely delicious!! I ordered their spicy seafood udon and it was so so tasty - sort of similar to a Korean jjamppong (which I also love). I also tried a bit of their bento box and every component tasted wonderful. I had come to Queenstown for a small holiday with my family and was really craving something filling and warm and this was perfect for it! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taste is good. Ordered sweet spicy chicken karage, skin is crispy and sauce is good but inner chicken meat could do with more flavor. Ramen had nice flavor but not amazing. Would love to try teppenaki one day. Good view of remarables from restaurant. Clean and new.

Salmon don was cooked well.
Looks like main attraction is teppanyaki so my rating only applies to normal orders

We have just ordered via deliver easy for an early dinner. Open up the trays and see the tuna in my wife’s box is grey and slimy and stink’s,
I wouldn’t even feed to a pet if I had one. We are throwing the entire meal out as my wife has just had a c section and there’s no way we want to ever touch a bite from this let alone ever again.
We have been coming here since we moved back a year ago and what made us really laugh in a way is how much the quality and portions have crashed.
As I say. Avoid unless you want a day off work and maybe even a hospital visit

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a takeaway tofu donburi for lunch and half of it was salad! Although the size of the meal was good, it was way too much salad in a donburi for my preference, and it was a bit strange because it had olives in it. The rice and tofu were delicious so next time I’ll ask for less salad now that I know. Staff were ok and I didn’t have to wait too long for it to be made.
