After shopping here for many years with GREAT service by john and other staff members.
I will NEVER be returning to this shop !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I come to nelson once or twice a year with work and I always shop at Hogeys and normally I enjoy exceptionally good survice. However the last two times I came in the staff were very pushy and made me feel uncomfortable not sure what has changed ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The two ladies were friendly but they sold me a ‘home-lee’ top and told me it’s a kiwi brand from Nelson.
It’s wasn’t cheap and at home I saw that the label says ‘made in China’. Furthermore the quality is very bad. I followed all the washing instructions but the shirt is smaller now, the sleeves are way to short and it lost nearly all of the golden design. I thought it’s golden yarn but it turned out it’s just a cheap print.
I can’t recommend to buy that brand!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was looking for beachwear for upcoming holiday. Staff very helpful however not much choice as going in to winter. A shame as so many people go to the islands over our winter but is hard to find the necessary clothes in our shops before you go. A market that could be supplied to and advertised as took a while to go around various shops to find what I needed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been shopping at Hogeys Street & Surf for many years. I have always loved the customer service I have received in the past and nothing has changed with the new owners. The new owners Trudy and Casey are knowledgeable, very friendly and helpful. From the moment you enter the store your greeted with a very warm welcome but they aren't intrusive so you can shop in peace but they are there if you need them. Love the clothes, love the shoes and love the service.

So many different beautiful pieces that show they have taken the time to really think about their customers and what they would wear. I am very impressed with the service, they have created a very chilled out positive atmosphere and there is always a friendly smile and greeting as soon as you walk in the door. Will definitely be shopping here again!
