★ ★ ★ ★ ★ บวก: -เจ้าของบ้านอัธยาศัยดีมาก -บ้านอยู่ย่านสงบ ทำเลดี ไปมาสะดวก -การจองเข้าพัก แสนง่ายดาย จองโดยไม่ต้องใช้บัตรเครดิตก็ได้. ลบ: สิ่งที่ไม่ชอบเลยคือ การที่บรรดาผู้รีวิวให้คะแนนที่นี่เกินกว่าที่ควรจะเป็นหรือไม่ ทำให้การตัดสินใจเลือกไม่ถูกต้องตามที่ควรจะเป็น เพราะจากการเข้าพักจริง ส่วนตัวรู้สึกเหมือนเจ้าของบ้านไม่มีความพร้อมเท่าที่ควร ประมาณว่า "ตามมีตามเกิด" ซึ่งมันใช่หรือสำหรับการให้เช่าเพื่อหารรายได้? ไม่ใช่ว่าต้องเรียบร้อย ดูดีเหมือนการให้บริการในโรงแรม แต่มันควรจะมีความพร้อมในการให้บริการมากกว่านี้หรือไม่?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positiv: Der Empfang ist freundlich durch den Betreiber, der im selben Haus wohnt. Betten sind gross, waren frisch bezogen und auch eine Stromheizung und Heizunterlage/Decke (recht typisch für NZ) war im Bett vorhanden. Kostenloses WIFI war vorhanden und hat problemlos funktioniert. Zum Frühstück kocht der Betreiber einem Eier und Würstchen, das ist nett.. Negativ: Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen. Sieht man leider überall. Um den Raumduft zu verbessern stehen einige Lufterfrischer rum, helfen aber nicht so viel. Das bestehende Haus wurde in ein BnB umfunktioniert ohne bauliche Anpassungen. Leider kein für sich abgetrennter Bereich. Man teilt sich Küche und Eingangsbereich mit dem Betreiber vom BnB, der auch dort wohnt. Begrüßt wird man in seinem doch recht abgewohnten und nicht besonders sauberen Wohnzimmer. Bad ist abgenutzt und die Einrichtung leider recht alt. Man hat zwei Schlafzimmer für sich, der Gang ist allerdings nur durch einen Vorhang von dem Bereich abgetrennt, der gemeinschaftlich genutzt wird, das ist verbesserungswürdig..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positiv: Der Gastgeber ist sehr bemüht und nett. Gibt Tipps und plaudert gerne. Genug Platz (Wohnzimmer, 1 Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, 1Schlafzimmer mit Stockbett und WC, eigenes Bad mit WC).. Negativ: Der Gastgeber wohnt im selben Haus, der Gästebereich ist nur durch einen Duschvorhang abgetrennt. Mobiliar sehr abgewohnt. Küche konnte man mitbenutzen, sah aber nicht sehr appetitlich aus, vor allem der Kühlschrankinhalt nicht..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Beds were clean and comfortable.. Negative: Needs a lot of repair inside and out. Had to walk across a board walk to get to the front door steps. Very untidy outside with broken plastic chair, drain coil, and rubbish bins with broken lids. Was an open trench across the front lawn about a foot deep. Inside smelt musty. Heat pump was filthy and was a potential fire hazard. No dishwasher or washing machine. Microwave was yellow in color as if it had been where someone had been a smoker. Same with hand beater. Grater was rusty. Shower didn't work. Couldn't open wardrobe doors in the bedrooms. Cupboards weren't clean..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The location was great, the rooms were large enough for families, the lounge was large and had carpet. You could walk to the town center or drive, there was room to park in the driveway. Large windows to let light in. We encountered a few problems and the contact person was quick to reply and help sort things out. The beds had an electric blanket on every bed, and clean towels.. Negative: However, the house was dirty, dead flys in cabinets, the kitchen has a film of oil on the surface. The only heater was thick with dust (the owner came around to clean it out), the kitchen light took 11 seconds to actually come on everytime you used the switch. The TV is on a arm on the wall and very high, there was no TV remote and we had to ring the owner to explain how to use it. If you weren't tall you had to stand on a chair to change channels, very unsafe. The house is very basic, and all the cupboards were either locked in the bedrooms or full of rubbish and dirt. The garage outside is open and full of dirt piled up. There is a fire that has been used, but we were told we couldn't use it, there was no wood for it anyway. The microwave has rust and the fridge is very old and needs a good clean. The bedding was cheap but clean, the coffee table is only held together with a few nails and about to collapse, so don't put anything heavy on it. we asked for a partial refund, which was declined as the owner thought we had value for money!.
