About Hollard Gardens
The people of Taranaki rightly expect nothing less than clean, unpolluted air. It is vital to the wellbeing of people and the health of the environment. This chapter details the air quality monitoring carried out across the region and the compliance programmes in place to maintain and improve our current levels of air quality.
Through extensive climate monitoring at sites across the region, the Council has collected data on sunshine, rain, wind and temperature, all of which helps guide decision-making by the Council and many other individuals and agencies.
We know the climate is changing at a rapid pace. Taranaki is already feeling the effects of climate change, with the potential for significant impacts in the future. Changes to air quality standards are also expected. This chapter outlines what we are doing to help Taranaki withstand the challenges that lie ahead.

β β β β β Excellent place for a stroll year round always nice and sheltered good clean toilets plus the public shelter is nice and cosy with a Fire in the winter and the tea and coffee is a real bonus! Shout out to the people who maintain it you do an excellent job!

β β β β β Great playground and free cups of tea, lovely gardens. When the wind is coming from the north it's the place to be in Taraniki, we had a lovely day in the sun while new Plymouth was wind and rain!

β β β β β Beautiful place to take family for day they have nice BBQ there clean toilets, heaps of space ,nice for a picnic too .lovely gardens .I will definitely be back there. If you go there you won't be disappointed.

β β β β β Beautiful garden, you have BBQ few benches and table to sit and have your food, breakfast or lunch. Very tidy place. Well maintained, you have rubbish bin, recycle bin to dispose the waste next to tables. Sign boards to guide you around the park every where. Car park at the entrance with shady trees. Good pathways in the park. Loved my visit here and will come again.
