β β β β β My mother was checked into Ilam in October 2017. She wasn't very happy about leaving her home and going into care, and had been very withdrawn and sad the first couple of months. Well, I can not praise the staff at Ilam enough: they had been so understanding, attentive, friendly. The team works as a family, and this is how the residents are treated, too. Ten months later my 90-year-old mother is in better health than a
even a few years ago (a complete miracle to me), she is decidedly happy (a huge change), and I am not stressed about her, knowing that somebody is going to be near her always when needed. Huge thank you to the team at Ilam Home & Hospital!

β β β β β My dear mum has been a resident here now for 2 years, she is very happy and has a lovely sunny room. Staff and owners are very caring and involved and the resident dog, rabbits and birds bring alot of joy to the residents. It's a very homely and welcoming place for mum to be safe and happy.
