★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lizzy took us on our 1 hour trip! She was super nice and kind, giving us each appropriate horses. She explained the instructions very well, and it was good to see that the horses seemed well looked after, she knew each individual horse by name and personality as well. Good for beginners!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic family experience that we all enjoyed. We aren't experienced riders and the staff were really kind and helpful, especially with our children. The boys have already asked if we can book to come and do the longer ride next time we're in the area!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best experiences I've made in NZ! Emma is the best and also the other staff (Alex & Lizzy) are sooo friendly and obliging! I highly recommend the swimming with the horses, a unique ride which I've never done or seen before! Also they treat the horses with respect and don't force them to do something, they don't want - and they enjoy the swimming really much too! 3 of 2 thumbs up!! Cheers, also to my pal Oscar, one of the most honest and nicest horses I've ever been ridden in my life!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can only fully agree with the old review by Woki! Emma was a great guide, and my horse Ace was great too! All horses were well mannered and well taken care of. We did the "ride and swim" which was beyond amazing. Compared to another horse trek I did here in NZ, this was top class. Would definitely recommend this trek both to beginners and experienced riders. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I come up to Paihia for the long weekend. I have been here a few times so wanted to try a different activity i have not done before and glad I chose to do this.
We decided on the forest and hillside trek and the horse i rode was Andy.
Our guide was called Lizzie who was very knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. We were taken to an area of Waitangi that i have not been to before to see Paihia with a new set of eyes.
We had a brilliant time and I would highly recommend trying this out if your in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed the ride today! All 3 ladies are amazing and very helpful. They will sit you on a horse suitable to your weight and experience. We were in a group of 5 and did the scenic track. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited recently with my partner after Christmas and we had such an incredible time I can barely put it into words. I have ridden previously but my partner had his first time on a horse - he was paired with Annie a lovely gentle clydie who looked after him the whole way!
We got to swim with horses which has been my lifelong dream, despite being a busy time of year the group was small no more than 6 riders and the guides made such we each had an incredible time and really cared about our experience and the horses
100% would recommend and will be back again for sure
